Job Description

    Responsibilities & Key Deliverables
    • Mechanical Design Surface modelling and modelling in CATIA, knowledge of Design for Manufacturing.
    • CAD Designer Responsibilities: Use software CATIA to create detailed 2D or 3D designs for complex projects.
    • Product Release in Team Centre
    • Conduct risk assessments, FMEA and design reviews.
    • Define the battery pack components durability, reliability, and testing requirements.
    • CAD Integration the battery system with other electrical and mechanical systems.
    • Collaborate with internal manufacturing partners, contract manufacturers, designers, and product specialists to optimize designs for manufacturability.
    • Execute and oversee onsite and supplier testing, provide testing support.
    Experience 6 years experience in new product development in Automotive area Qualifications MTech/Btech in Mechanical Engineering General Requirements
    • Ability to solve complex engineering problems.
    • Strong decision-making skills.
    • Experience leading the design and development of advanced battery systems from concept thru production launch.
    • Knowledge of li-ion battery technology, including various cell chemistries.
    • Experience conducting a FMEA for advanced battery systems.
    • Excellent oral and written communication
