Job Description

*The primary responsibility will include processing Underwriting Source System transactions through the Enterprise Financial Architecture (EFA) and assist with resolution of queries or issues raised by the Finance users and Controllers on data availability. The role also involves supporting the Group and Regulatory Close by performing Revaluation, Translation and Consolidations as per quarter close calendar and providing assistance in resolving issues and queries raised during the close process.

  • Supporting Quarterly IFRS financial close processes (Revaluations, Translations & Consolidations) across multiple ERP systems (Oracle /PeopleSoft/SAP)
  • Perform underwriting source system to GL interfaces and reconciliations
  • Provide support to internal and external auditors
  • Working closely with Finance & IT teams to provide continuous improvement opportunities for existing BAU processes.
  • Active participation and support various Integrations, Sprint release through Scrum & User Acceptance Testing across the ERP systems.
  • Direct interaction with finance stakeholders and users assisting them in resolving their adhoc queries relating to interfaces.
, *We re looking for someone who has these abilities and skills:
  • Graduate/Post Graduate : B-Tech/B.Com/M.Com/MBA/PGDBA
  • Should have 8 12 years of post-qualification experience with Financial Close in ERP systems
    • Proven hands on experience in providing BAU support in Oracle FAH and e-Business Suite Applications
    • Basic understanding of Ledgers and GL Functional Setups on PeopleSoft or SAP would be an added advantage.
  • Preference will be given to the candidate having strong IT skills like Oracle SQL
  • Well versed with Microsoft Office tools, especially Excel
  • Strong Communication & Interpersonal skills
  • Organized, Methodical, able to deal effectively with multiple priorities
  • Good knowledge of financial statements and an exposure to complex data reconciliations
  • Ability to work independenttly in a fast paced environment, prioritize and adapt to changing requirements
