Job Description

Education and Experience

  • Bachelor degree or above
  • 6 Experience in financial services and/or a back-office operations environment. Reporting/Derivatives related experience would be an added advantage
  • Strong Excel and MS Access skills would be an added advantage
  • Strong reconciliation and knowledge of financial concepts (Derivatives and Regulation) is required
  • Demonstrated ability to manage teams and lead people.
  • Experience of managing/involvement in the performance appraisal cycle
  • Flexibility with shifts
Skills/ Knowledge
  • Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and possess strong problem solving and resolution skills.
  • Drive process improvement initiatives and changes based on business strategy requirements and educate team on exception processing
  • Good understanding of EMIR regulations and other regulations
  • Accumulate, retain and use knowledge of derivative and FX products and the appropriate regulations associated with the EMIR reporting process.
  • Advanced working knowledge of accounting fundamentals with respect to the workability of various financial instruments, especially derivatives
  • Expert knowledge of Internal Systems, MS office (excel, word) and good working knowledge of MS PowerPoint. Knowledge of database management systems MS access / Visual basic/ Macros would be an added advantage
  • Strong mathematical and analytical skills essential
  • Data & Analysis - Posesses strong attention to detail. Demonstrate good analytical skills in resolving the team issues and facilitates decision making
  • Knowledge of FXs, ETDs and OTC derivative instruments
  • Ability to manage time and work well in a fast paced, high volume atmosphere; prioritize effectively
  • Support the team management managing BAUs and projects.
  • Lead and support the Learning and Development initiatives for the team and demonstrate complete ownership.
