Job Description

    PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
    • Works in a dynamic environment, finding solutions and improvements for a diverse product line of airplanes.
    • Perform duties in support of new product and sustaining designs
    • Develop, design and draft your ideas using CATIA V5/V6. This may include design in airframe (aluminum and composites), flight controls, environmental controls, pneumatics, or hydraulics.
    • Coordinate with other Engineering and technical groups to develop, implement, monitor, and status assignments
    • Initiate designs or incorporate design improvements utilizing CATIA V5 and V6 software with an emphasis on modeling and drafting
    • 3D model development in support of detail, assembly and installation layouts
    • Peer drawing checking and the release of engineering documents, as well as day-to-day collaboration to resolve design conflicts and interferences

    • Good overall understanding of aircraft design is necessary.
    • Composites experience preferred.
    • CATIA V5/V6 experience required.
    • Enovia/VPM/3DCom experience preferred.
    • Aerospace domain background experience
    • Proficiency in MS Office.
