Job Description

Design Engineer Professional Plsql, Datawerehousing Our purpose is to use the power of communications to make a better world. For each other, for our customers, for society and our communities. We need you to help us do this. Why this role matters What youll be doing

  • Understand High level/ e2e design document in DMS area for BnPS.
  • Write Low level design document in DMS area for BnPS.
  • Work with the Application Development team to implement data strategies and build data flows.
  • Understand and translate business requirements into data models.
  • Create or update conceptual, logical and physical data models using OLTP best practices and according to company standards.
  • Recommend opportunities for reuse of data models where appropriate
  • Generate DDL scripts and implement them in the database
  • Contribute in test driven development
  • Participate in integration of components and bug fixing
  • Provide 3 rd line support during live issues
  • Contribute in End to end software development and delivery.
  • Interaction with key stake holders and business.
  • Should play the role of Scrum Master in Agile projects.
  • Expected to coach / mentor and guide Team members.
  • Acts as lead change agent with ability to channel resources effectively internally developing best practics.
  • Should drive improvement programs in the DMS area.
Well also need to see these on your CV
  • Good knowledge of DMS area(for BnPS) in Design/Delivery spaces based on the Role.
  • Worked as team member in building enterprise data applications in RoBT/OR area.
  • Worked as team member in building BI/DW applications as in ETL, Database PL/SQL development, reporting through Oracle data marts.
  • Extensive experience with PL/SQL, OWB, ODI, OBI Development, Oracle Query performance, Scalability and Reliability
  • Innovate and create solutions to very complex problems and new business initiatives
  • Effective verbal and written communication skills
