Why this role matters Business and Public Sector (B&PS) Omega team looking for a talented, motivated and passionate Software professional to be part of the design and development of highly scalable application(s) to provide best-in-class service capabilities for BT customers to drive overall NPS for B&PS.Role holder should be an active practitioner of engineering excellence: keeping a high bar for quality, consistency, maintainability, efficiency, and all the other things that make software great, will work with a talented team of engineers to create state of the art software systems What youll be doing Develop and deliver software systems following the best practices software development, DevOps and AgileTechnical problem solver in the team, identifying innovative solutions to project deadlocks and resolving issues and constraints through consensus and sound judgmentWork closely with the Business/CTIO teams to understand the business outcome and work to provide the best solution possible Well also need to see these on your CV

  • Sound experience in software development on .net technologies using Agile and DevOps practices
  • Proficient in Microsoft.Net technologies (C#, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, Web API, TDD, OOP/OOAD)
  • Proficient client side development (React, Angular, jQuery, Jasmine/Karma, Bootstrap)
  • Experience with SQL, SQL Server and other RDBMS.
  • Have sound concepts of Agile methodologies and have experience in Agile delivery (Scrum/Kanban, tools like JIRA)
  • Experience in NoSQL DB like Redis,Mongo DB is preferred
  • A proven track record for being detail-oriented with a demonstrated ability to self-motivate and deliver results
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • A proven ability to bring clarity to ambiguous situations
  • Strong presentation skills with a high degree of comfort speaking with executives, technical leaders, and developers
  • Demonstrated ability to adapt to new technologies and learn quickly
  • Ability to handle multiple competing priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Possess B.E. or B.Tech or M.S. (or equivalent) degree in Computer Science or related field
  • Possess 6+ years of experience in IT
  • Strong C#.NET and SQL Server Database skills
  • Provide technical and functional guidance and direction to team members
  • Possess excellent written and oral communication skills
