Developer, Business Intelligence - BGRS Developer, Business Intelligence SummaryDeveloper, Business Intelligence DescriptionDeveloper, Business Intelligence Role Overview: A member of the IT business intelligence team, Developer, Business Intelligence participates in the design, development and maintenance of the corporate business intelligence platforms and technologies. Developer will have experience with the common database platforms but also have specialized skills in one or more BI technologies used at BGRS. Key Responsibilities: Participate in the design, development and maintenance of BI technology solutions Participate in Project and Maintenance activities as required Maintain a high level of technical expertise on the Microsoft SQL Server Database specific technologies and languages Maintain a high level of technical expertise on one or more Reporting, Analysis, data management and/ or data transformation technologies Strive to develop solutions with a high quality level, aligned with business needs and free of bugs and performance issues Following BGRS Development Standards, SDLC and BI Delivery best practices Education and Experience Required: Bachelors Degree in Computer Science or equivalent related work experience Experience working in a reporting or data analytics development role Experience with Microsoft SQL Server, performing Schema design and TSQL Query and Store Procedure development and optimization Familiar with Data Warehousing concepts and design approaches such as dimensional design, normalized design and Agile BI Experience using Microsoft TFS and Visual Studio for source control and development activities Experience with one or more of the following technologies: Microsoft SSIS 2008 or greater Microsoft SQL BI Technologies such as Analysis Services, Reporting Services, Power Pivot Microsoft Office 2016 BI Tools and integrations Must have sound analysis, problem resolution, judgement and decision making skills. Display high degree of Confidence and ability to work in ambiguous situations Ability to rapidly assimilate new information and new techniques,
