State Street Global Services (SSGS) is seeking a highly qualified Senior Associate Professional Services Developer Consultant with excellent programming and reporting skill to assume a role on our Professional Services Team. The successful candidate would be responsible for the successful implementation of products and consulting initiatives within our new professional services team for the State Street Global Services Insurance Solutions business in India. He/ she will proactively keep their manager informed of project/ report development status, and any barriers/ risks they are encountering. Candidate must be willing and able to learn new skills quickly and efficiently. This role is for an industry and product expert report writing and data extraction. This aspect of the job requires someone with an eye for detail and excellent organizational skills. The individual must be able to understand client requirements and manage to project deadline. The ideal candidate should be self- motivated with a proven track record as an industry expert with excellent analytical skills in software systems within the financial industry and have extensive business knowledge of financial instruments (equity, fixed income, derivatives). Responsibilities: Provide complex and timely consulting and customer support to our clients on data extraction and customized reporting for the various suite of products (PAM SDK, PAM Reporting, PAM DataLink, PAM2PAM, MySS etc ) Writing and testing code, refining and rewriting it as necessary Provide project estimates and complete Consulting Project Documents documenting client requirements and deliverables Create custom reports/ extracts via our report writing products and/ or visual studio, where applicable Eager to assist fellow co- workers in reviewing their program logic/ code and testing data to make sure it meets end- user requirements/ expectations Perform thorough testing prior to client deployment Resolve client inquiries timely and accurately Assist with pre- sale opportunities via conference calls, demos, etc. . . Duplicate software defects reported by clients Become a subject matter expert on our products and services Ensure completion of milestones for project delivery on time and budget Actively manage the plan to identify and manage risk before issue evolution Own resolution and escalation of risks and issues Adhere to, and enhance, processes and procedures required of Professional Services to successfully implement clients Ensure a smooth transition from Implementation to Client Support Professional Qualities: Bachelors Degree (Computer Science/ Application/ Computer Systems engineering/ Electronics/ Information Systems/ Mathematics) Proven experience as a Software Developer, Software Engineer or similar role with coding languages e. g. C , C#. NET, VB. NET Experience with software design and development in a test- driven environment Minimum 6 year experience in consulting services, financial services or product support PAM/ RKS experience is added advantage Knowledge of Financial Reporting and broad range of investment type instruments Prior experience with Report Writing products and Programming ( e. g. MS Visual Studio, Cognos, Business Objects, Power BI, SSRS etc) Knowledge of SQL, SQL Developer and experience in dealing with relational databases. Understanding of relational databases concepts Excellent ability to work in a global team environment or individually Qualifications: Excellent organizational skills and ability to prioritize tasks Good communication and interpersonal skills in dealing with various audiences Ability to manage several projects and tasks at the same time Good presentation skills Talent for identifying customer needs and delivering a quality product Sound judgment and decision making abilities Strong problem solving skills PC skills including Word, Excel, PowerPoint.,
