As a Developer, should specialize in the design and development of the ETL environment, processes, programs, and scripts to acquire data from source systems and apply the data to the tables in the database.The individual must have the skills necessary to understand the overall data warehouse architecture.Designs and builds the ETL environment with Teradata, Unix Shell scripting, Advanced SQL as required by the client.May also provide input to the database designer to optimize the data loading of the physical database.As part of Operation Support responsibility, should be ready to work on Weekend shifts max of 2 weekends in a month with Comp-off and allowances and weekday shifts timing (11am to 8pm IST)Key Responsibilities :Ability to understand and document requirementsHighly proficient in SQL, Teradata BTEQ and utilities (TPT, MLOAD, FLOAD and FASTEXPORT)Highly proficient in Shell scripting in UNIX environmentSolid experience in analysing query performance issues in TeradataExcellent understanding of relational and dimensional data modelsStrong analytical, problem-solving, collaborative skillsNice to have AWS Redshift experience, Mandatory Skills: Teradata ETL, Data Warehousing, Data Integration Desirable Skills: Unix Shell Scripting, Oracle SQL Language Skills: English Language
