You ll be Wireless Infrastructure for Office and Industry Family. We re greater together through peer learning in our globally diverse team, with different backgrounds and nationalities.We re looking for an Engineer who ll be responsible for developing and testing embedded software for various IoT- based Lighting Systems & Solutions.You ll be part of the Signify Wireless Infrastructure team in Bangalore and its responsibilities are as specified below, so Embedded Linux, C, and ZigBee must be in your DNA.What you ll do

  • Analysing & understanding assigned requirements from an end user perspective and translating it to software requirements.
  • Translate software requirement to Design
  • Implementation of key modules and can develop quick working prototypes (when necessary)
  • Coaching junior team members in software engineering aspects.
  • Identifying and resolving technical risks
What you ll need
  • Engineering degree along with relevant experience of 6-8 years.
  • Embedded software engineering with real time operating systems.
  • Programming language: C
  • Experience working with Cross Compiler like IAR, Keil etc.
  • Excellent Debugging skills
  • Experience in embedded Linux / C / Python is highly desirable
  • S/W Design skills. Knowledge of UML is a must.
  • Embedded software engineering with real time operating systems
  • Working in agile scrum teams
  • Configuration management tools Experience [GIT, SVN]
  • Domain Knowledge in ZigBee and IP is a must
  • Hands on microcontroller experience in encryption algorithms, in protocols like ZigBee, Wi-Fi., 802.15.4
