Job Description

What you ll do

As a Applications Developer in the Cloud Applications group You will actively contribute and steer all aspects of agile software development: planning, tracking, architecture, development, configuration management, testing, integration, validation, and documentation You will be able to estimate total required team effort, are closely involved in policy preparation and the program of the group You will lead improvement initiatives with regard to technological improvements, and perform future- oriented studies with other specialists You are recognized by peers because of your technical competences You will be the contact point for customers, identify leads and understand market demand and customer requirements in the longer term

What you ll need

  • A Bachelor/Master degree in computer science or information science (requirement)
  • Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in product development as Web Frontend Developer
  • At least 5 years of experience with HTML5, JavaScript, CSS, TypeScript (requirement)
  • Proven track record and working experience in Object Oriented JS, Responsive layouts, Performance optimizations, WebWorkers
  • Experience in Angular, RxJS and JQuery
  • Working experience in TDD/BDD is also advantage
  • An interest and preferably working experience in agile development
  • methodologies (Agile, Scrum, Kanban, SAFe )
  • Excellent understanding of the web and browsers (Chrome, Firefox, IE, Edge)
  • experience with the terminal (git, npm, yarn, etc.)
  • Excellent knowledge and experience of software development patterns
  • experience with server- side rendered applications
  • experience with JS testing libraries like Mocha, Jasmine, Qunit,
  • active contributions to open source projects and organizations is advantage
  • Excellent communication skills (fluent in English)
  • A team player, eager to invest in personal and team growth
  • Able to coach others in technical areas
  • Strong analytical, conceptual and creative thinking skills. A problem solving and pragmatic attitude
