In collaboration with the generic/standard LOBs our goal is to deliver best in class planning and supply chain processes to cater for constantly evolving business requirements within a fast-changing environment with a clear industry focus.The group is looking for a suitable candidate who will head a development unit with 15+ software engineers.The RoleAs a leader of this development organization, your key responsibilities include:

  • Leading the team that designs & develop innovations in Consumer Industries to focus on the vision of building Intelligent Enterprise for the future.
  • Take care of people management in all its aspects (hiring, performance and talent management including goal setting, motivation, coaching and development of individuals and teams, plan and manage skill development, etc.).
  • Strong focus on Cloud development principles and Cloud qualities
  • Lead and management co-innovation projects
  • Manage and execute against delivery commitments and adoption of automation, quality, and continuous delivery
  • Should be able to scale/rampup cloud native development teams
Role Requirements
  • Bachelor s Degree in computer science with strong management experience with overall experience of 12+ years including 8+ years of solid understanding of server infrastructure/architecture in Java environment in a product development company
  • Strong software analysis/design/programming skills. At least 5 years of experience working in a commercial product development environment
  • Sound knowledge of Computer Science fundamentals, data structures, design patterns and architecture principles
  • Practical experience in software development and Agile methodologies are required
  • Strong team player with the mind-set to work in a high-impact team
  • Experience as people manager incl. hiring, onboarding, training and upskilling high performing teams a plus
  • Work experience on UI based technologies such as Angular JS, bootstrap, React etc. OR Spring Boot OR Machine Learning is a plus
