We are currently looking for an DevOps Engineer who will assist in delivering this programme byIdentifying/Gathering/Questioning and challenging when necessary/ documenting the CI/CD requirementsProvide inputs on existing processes and collaborate with DevOps & Project team towards automation and delivery efficiencyContributing to Automation development activities in all aspectsAssisting the project roll-outComplying with Standard Chartered Bank project framework for Automation.Must be hands-onCore Competencies:Developing automation scripts in ansible, python, shell, groovy, etc.DevOps utility skills in Git, Jenkins, Sonar, OpenShift, AWS, Monitor, etc.Designing the CI/CD workflowReverse engineering requirements and developing models as needed to support DevOps automationEnsuring the quality and timeliness of deliveryEnsuring constructive working relationships within team and with external groupsDomain Knowledge & SkillsStrong fundamentals and hands-on skills in Linux/Unix/Windows Operating systems administrationExcellent programming skills using Shell Scripting/Python and other scripting languagesStrong knowledge in installation/configuration/administration of Apache HTTP Server, Tomcat, JBoss Fuse/EAP/IISExcellent working knowledge in Ansible for automating software provisioning, configuration management, and application deploymentsGood knowledge and experience in using tools like Jenkins, Git, SonarQubeGood working knowledge in OpenShift (PaaS) , kubernetes, DockersAbility to analyse and resolve complex infrastructure resource and application deployment issuesData communication, network knowledge & Information security knowledge is an added advantageManage backup and recovery & conduct asset managementGood experience working in physical/virtual (VMware) and cloud based infrastructures (AWS)Good experience in standard monitoring tools like AppDynamics, ITRS, sysdigUnderstanding network topologies and common network protocols and services (DNS, HTTP(S), SSH, FTP, SMTP)Manage, coordinate, implement and remediate security compliance & vulnerabilitiesWork with engineering/development teams, develop strategies and implement solutions for managing database back-ups, restoration and replicationSupport and coordinate the implementation of database products (Oracle, PostGres, MongoDB) on a variety of platforms (VMware 6.x, Oracle DaaS, Amazon RDS)Increase day-to-day operational efficiency and accuracy via the use of automated tools and scriptsProvide database diagnoses to remediate issues working with DBA sDesiredRed Hat Certified Specialist in OpenShift Administration would be an advantageRED HAT CERTIFICATE OF EXPERTISE IN ANSIBLE AUTOMATION would be an advantageRHCE/RHCA/MCSA Certification would be an advantage,
