Job Description

  • Design, Deploy and Manage Containers & Container Orchestration platforms Docker, ContainerD, Kubernetes, Rancher, EKS, AKS, etc.
  • Automate network, compute, storage, security etc. in public cloud.
  • Automate deployment and lifecycle management of IAAS and PAAS in publicprivate cloud and within Datacenter.
  • Develop Configuration Management Scripts for Configuration Management Tools to automate installation, configuration and patch management.
  • Build and manage container images and Server images.
  • Monitor and Manage complex system.
  • Setup CICD pipeline.
  • Work with agile application teams and identify opportunities for speed to market with automation.
  • Use Systems Thinking approach to analyze and solve problems in complex environments
  • Mentor peers and junior team members in Devops and Best practices.
    • Required Skills:
      • Fundamental Understanding of DevOps.
      • Basic understanding of Linux OS andor Windows OS based server provisioning, configuration and lifecycle management.
      • Experience with one of the Public Cloud Providers - AWSAzureGCP.
      • Experience with one or more of the Private Cloud or Virtualization Stack - HPE CSAHPE OO HPE SA vRealize Automation vRealize Orchestrator VMware Esxi KVM Xen Server
      • Working experience with Infrastructure as code with one of the tools - TerraformPulumiAWS CloudFormationAzure Resource Manager
      • Worked with one or more configuration management tools to automate configuration management of servers, applications and platforms - ChefAnsiblePuppet
      • Understanding of Container Technologies like Docker and Container Orchestration platform like Kubernetes.
      • Working experience with one of the container platformsPAAS RancherDocker Data CenterRed Hat OpenShiftPivotal CloudFoundryMesosphere DCOS
      • Experience with one of the Continuous Integration and Continuous DeliveryDeployment platform - Jenkins Bamboo CircleCI Gitlab CI Travis CI Spinnaker
      • Working experience in one or more source code repository - GitGitlabGitHubBitbucket
      • Should have written scripts in one of the scripting technologies - Bash Python Ruby PowerShell.
        • Good to Have or Desirable Skills:
          • Experience working in creating workflows for automation and day 2 operations StackStorm or Rundeck or similar platform.
          • Should have setup CICD pipeline.
          • Working knowledge in one of the Logging & Monitoring toolsets - ELK Stack Sensu Prometheus Nagious Splunk
          • Working experience in a REST APIMicroservices based productprojects as a DevOps Engineer.
          • Application Development experience with a functional programming language or oops based modern programming language Python, Ruby, Go, etc.
          • Exposure to working in a Team that used one of the Agile Methodologies or Framework - Scrum Kanban Lean
          • Worked with Agile ManagementRequest Management tools - JIRAServiceNow
          • Automation Experience with Hyper Converged Infrastructure.
