Job Description

    We are looking for DevOps Engineer with 7 years for our esteemed client for Bangalore location.Key Skills: Docker, Kubernetes, DevOps, CI/CD, Gitlab, Linux.This is an immediate requirement. Please apply if you can join within 20 days or close to 20 days.Roles and Responsibilities:
    • Proposes new solutions based on research and synthesis of best practices and able to functionally support the CI/CD processes of the development team.
    • Proactively learns new solutions and processes to address possible blockers or problems in product teams.
    • Support and improve tooling for continuous build, automated testing, and release management.
    • Ability to build, maintain, and run workloads on Kubernetes orchestration systems using docker.
    • Knowledge and practical experience of cloud tooling and best practices
    • Profile build processes and identify bottlenecks.
    • Demonstrate expertise in writing scripts to automate tasks.
    • Implements Continuous Integration/Deployment build principles.
    • Provide expertise in quality engineering, test planning and testing methodology for a software project.
    • Build and maintain documentation related to building processes and product environmental configurations.
    • Demonstrates a passion and drive for self-improvement of technical skillsets.
    • Responsible for automating the deployment process of cloud-based applications.
    • Responsible for maintaining the integration of CI/CD pipelines with SAST/SCA/DAST tools.
    • Responsible for estimating and planning the CI/CD tasks.
    • Works very closely with the development teams to ensure the integrity of each release.
    • Maintains source control branches.
    • Proactively engages with cross-functional teams to resolve issues and design solutions using critical thinking and analysis skills and best practices.
    Required Skills, Qualifications (Technical Competency):
    • Professional Technical Experience: 4 Years
    • Docker Experience: 1 Years
    • Professional Technical Experience: 5 Years
    • Kubernetes Experience: 2 Years
    • BE/BTech/MTech in ECE /Computer Science /EEE /IT or MCA.
    • 2 Years of experience in DevOps, CI/CD activities especially in Java based systems.
    • Experienced in DevOps Domain with work done in Continuous Integration/ Continuous Deployment, Release Automation and Management, Environment Management.
    • Familiarity with maintaining CI/CD pipelines with Gitlab.
    • Familiarity in administering version control systems such as Git, etc. with understanding of branching/merging models in Git.
    • Exposure to Agile methodology and working with Agile development teams.
    • Support and improve tooling for continuous build, automated testing, and release management.
    Desired:
    • Linux Experience: 4 Years
    • Python, Shell, or Bash Scripting Experience: 2 Years
    • Good to have experience with AWS, Kubernetes, EKS, Docker.
    • Good to have exposure to SAST and Security tools like SonarQube.
