Job Description

  • Implement and test automation scripts using Python to automate security scanning tasks such as static code scan, dynamic application, image and network scanning.
  • Use REST API to interact with web services provided by tools and create tool orchestration capabilities.
  • Integrate and test automation artifacts in Gitlab or Jenkins based CI/CD pipelines.
  • Devise and implement image management and deployment approach Docker and image repository such as Harbor. Leverage Artifactory for package management as needed.
  • Participate in scanning and testing tool evaluation and building proof of concepts.
  • Maintain and apply best practices to internal Git repo, branching structure and workflow in Gitlab.
  • Maintain documentation and user guides in Confluence.
  • Support with integrating automation libraries with multitude of applications across Dell.
  • Integrate with other aggregation and reporting tools within the organization to provide a consolidated view.
  • Assist in driving consistency and standardization of services wherever possible along with defining organization-wide processes and reporting from various tools individually as well as in tandem with each other.
  • Mentor junior members of the team.
Essential Requirements
  • Bachelor s Degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or a related field
  • Must have hands-on experience and fluency in scripting using Python
  • Experience with automation management and CI/CD orchestration with Jenkins / Gitlab CI / Ansible or equivalent
  • Experience with REST API to build automation of web services
  • Experience in distributed code repositories such as Git (Gitlab/Github/Bitbucket)
  • Preferred experience in using and building Docker based deployments
  • Experience with Powershell and Linux scripting
  • Experience with ticketing / task trackers such as JIRA, Gitlab issue tracker
  • Strong analytical, process management and reporting skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Results-driven and accountability-minded
  • Ability and desire to learn new skills
