Job Description

*Key Resposibilities

  1. Responsible for Vehicle endurance test measurement analysis and implementation of drive cycles on Hardware-In-Loop environment
  2. Responsible for analysis of field uses and define test specifications
  3. Responsible for Validation of Powertrain ECU functions (Engine, Transmission, Hybrid, Inverter, MBS).
  4. Responsible for automation of test cases using scripting languages such as VB
  5. Responsible for Requirement Analysis, effort estimations
  6. Responsible for writing Test Specifications, Test automation in dSpace HiL environment, execution of Test automation framework and reporting test defects to ensure that 100% Software test coverage.
  7. Responsible for mentoring and overseeing activities of the Hardware-in-the-Loop team with an aim to improve the overall
  8. Collaboration with offshore and onshore teams in define vehicle level test concepts on HiL

  • Graduate/Post graduate in Electrical & Electronics
  • Automotive Powertrain domain know-how
  • Experienced in Automotive system integration & testing
  • Knowledge on test derivation methods - ISTQB certification would be advantageous
  • PROVETech:TA KnowHow
  • Knowledge on xEVs configurations & operation mode
  • Experience in HiL testing (preferably work experience on dSpace or any closed-loop system)
    • Experience with dSPACE Systems Hardware and Software Tool Chains
    • Knowledge on Vector Tool Chain CANape, CANoe, CANlyzer
    • Experience in High Voltage HiL testing woudl be added advantage
  • Good Programming/Scripting Skills
    • VBA/.NET Script Development in Automotive Testing
    • Real Time Script Development for ECU HiL Testing ( RT Scripting with ALCOM Libraries, VB)
  • Should have excellent Analytical and Problem Solving Skills
  • Excellent communication skills and ability to work & contribute as a good team player
  • Experience in the automotive field and exposure of multi-cultural environment is an added advantage
  • Basic knowledge on German language is preferred
  • Usage of Software flashing Tools MONACO or Diagnostic testers
