You will support our global business operations, in a wide range of commercial, transactional, and regulatory matters while building the in-house legal team to support company growth.Roles and Responsibilities:
    • Standardizing agreements for the business/sales teams, and also reviewing and negotiating agreements with legal teams of large enterprise customers
    • Supporting corporate M&A, financing, and other strategic transactional initiatives
    • Advising on regulatory compliance and corporate governance
    • Track upcoming laws and regulations related to the business, analyse and provide reports and summaries of business impact
    • Work with outside counsel, while also building the in house legal team for the long term
    • Areas of focus will include, but not be limited to customer contracts, employment law(global), data privacy law, international law
    Required skills/qualifications:
    • Superior academic credentials and 8-12 years of work experience
    • Experience as in house counsel in high-growth tech company, preferably with international business experience
    • Ability to take ownership and operate without guidance on a wide range of topics
    Preferred skills/qualifications:
    • Software (specifically SaaS) experience in high growth companies based out of India
    • Data privacy and IP law understanding across geographies
