Job Description

What Youll DoThis role is that of a director in the datacenter team, in the iBNG group.The DC fabric team (or the NXOS team) focuses specifically on datacenter networking solutions. The product and solution portfolio include high performance fixed and modular Nexus family of switches, orchestration, monitoring and data analytics software.The key products in the portfolio are Nexus 9K/7K/6K/5K/3K/2K, MDS9K, and DCNM datacenter management solution. You will be the Leader for Protocol Independent Infra and features for NXOS in India. Areas of ownership would span security infra like AAA and dot1x, licensing and logging infra, key protocol features like ARP, AM and NAT, the NXOS network stack (netstack), parser and modularity infra and network management (DCNM).Who Youll Work WithYou will work closely with the NXOS product marketing teams to understand evolving customer requirements, help scope work and priority for those requirements, and map those to deliverables for your own and potentially other ownership areas.You will partner closely with other NXOS PI teams and with the NXOS PD teams to deliver solutions and features for our customers, on a slew of Nexus products like nexus 3K, Nexus9K, Nexus 56K, Nexus7K, MDS9K and DCNM.Who You Are

  • Good knowledge of networking protocols, modern Linux based network operating systems, and network management.
  • Knowledge of Datacentre architectures and DC technology trends a plus.
