Director/ VP Product Management will be responsible for both product planning and product marketing. This includes managing the product throughout the product lifecycle, gathering and prioritizing product and customer requirements, defining the product vision, and working closely with engineering, to deliver winning products. It also includes working with sales, marketing and support to ensure revenue and customer satisfaction goals are met. The Product Managers job also includes ensuring that the product and marketing efforts support the companys overall strategy and goals. Experience 10- 12 years experience in product management, product marketing. Should have been a head of the product management function. Demonstrated success defining and launching excellent products 3 years of experience in a job in the enterprise applications or financial services applications. Excellent written and verbal communication skills Skill Sets Strong Hands on experience and knowledge of Technical background, with experience in Web based technologies Excellent teamwork skills Proven ability to influence cross- functional teams without formal authority Must be able to travel 30% of the time Examples and at least one sample of an effective document delivered in the past N- Tier Architecture, design patterns, Object Oriented Design and Modeling (UML) Understands how various issues affect each other and the outcome of projects. Improves upon existing approaches by seeking opportunities to creatively transform current industry practices into fresh alternative solutions.
