Job Description

    Operations _ MFJob Description - DM- Operations The DM - Operations will be responsible for overseeing operational processes, ensuring the smooth functioning of transactions, compliance with regulatory requirements, efficient client servicing, and coordination with various internal and external stakeholders. This role demands strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and a deep understanding of mutual fund operations.Key ResponsibilitiesOversee daily mutual fund operations and ensure timely processing of transactions.Monitor compliance with regulatory requirements and company policies.Identify and implement process improvements to enhance operational efficiency.Stay updated on industry regulations (such as SEC rules) and ensure mutual fund operations comply with all relevant legal requirements.Manage in-house processing of KYC under CAMS and CVL KRA platforms implement SEBI regulations and ensure compliance within the organization.Monitor and reconcile fund flows, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in settlements.Oversee compliance and regulatory processes.Monitor the end-to-end transaction journey, including both commercial andnon-commercial processesOptimize processes by providing product inputs and simplifying operational activities through interactions with external vendors (RTA, AMCs, Payment Aggregators).Handle fund activations, scheme master updating, regulatory circulars, purchases, redemptions, SIPs, portfolio analysis, statement analysis, and NAV checks.Prepare SOPs.Work on transaction reporting across platforms, including BSE Star, API, and manual reporting (channel transactions)QualificationsMinimum of 5 years of experience in mutual fund operations.Strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.Proven track record of process improvement and operational efficiency.Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.Ability to manage and mentor a team effectively.
