Job Description

  • Responsible for documentation and release of BOM for Owner s Manuals and supplementary Booklets
  • Generate Part Numbers for MB Cars and Vans as required by stakeholders
Job Responsibilities:
  • Experience in Release and documentation of Engineering Change Notice for Owner s Manuals and supplementary Booklets
  • Must be well versed with the Design, Drawing standards, Data Management, Release Management and awareness of Regulation standards
  • Must have knowledge about Automobile components and product life cycle management
  • Generate Part Numbers for MB Cars and Vans as required by stakeholders
  • Audit and report accuracy of database created by stakeholders for planning, preproduction and After-sales activities
  • Manage risks and issues impacting project deliverables
  • Ensure effective communication with Business partners and Knowledge sharing with in the team
Mandatory Expertise:
  • Experience in the field of After Sales/ technical documentation is preferred
  • Knowledge on documentation of variant based coderule BOM
  • Knowledge of Engineering Change Management system
  • General Automotive knowledge in most domains, preferably with knowledge on Owners Manuals
  • Ability to handle multiple work tasks and ensure timely deliveries
  • Microsoft office skills with proficiency in MS Excel and Power point tools
  • Knowledge of German language is an added advantage
Years of Experience:
  • 2 6 years of experience in Automotive Design and Product Data Management with knowledge in Managing and tracking Engineering Changes
Qualification:
  • B.E/ B.Tech
