Accurately prepare 2D / 3D drawings , layouts , details , BOMs of electromechanical parts and assemblies to communicate the design for manufacturingCo - ordinate and take inputs from design , manufacturing and quality engineers to prepare accurate , complete and fully defined drawingsUnderstand the design intent and capture the same in drawings meant for fabrication , by putting an emphasis on clarity and quality while maintaining industrial and company standardsParticipate in DFM reviews , recommend changes / modifications to design / drawings as appropriate to meet manufacturability , functionality and measurability requirements.Education: B.E / B.Tech / Diploma in Mechanical Engineering , or other relevant engineering fieldExperience: 2 4 years experience in drafting of electro - mechanical or mechanical / aerospace parts and assembliesDesired Skills:Strong knowledge of Solidworks / CATIA / similar 3D CAD software. Experience with PDM / PLM systems is preferredExperience in drafting electromechanical part and assembly drawings per ASME Y14.5 - 2009 standardStrong knowledge of GD&T fundamentals , concepts and standardsWorking knowledge of materials , manufacturing processes (conventional and non - traditional processes) is requiredExcellent communication skills , both verbal and writtenDetail oriented , Creative and curious open to learning , identifying and solving problemsSelf - driven , able to work and manage self independently,
