Job Description

  • Engages directly with executive business leaders to provide financial analysis and technical support to help them interpret financial and operational data, typically exercising a strong understanding of the business to determine the best method for achieving objectives.
  • Provides technical support to business leaders to address issues with analytical platform performance, executive reporting change requests, and answer general customer questions / provide information to resolve any issues either over the phone or face-to-face (as required).
  • Manages customer queries related to analytical platforms, including documenting change requests, addressing tool functionality / performance questions and performing regular application monitoring to maintain customer service levels. Ensures strong business controls.
  • Maintain updated knowledge of all company analytic reporting platforms in order to provide adequate education to customers.
  • Provide oversight of automated or manual data loading processes, coordinate stakeholder reviews and validate accuracy of business performance reports.
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and policy development and engages in the design.
Education and Experience Required:
  • First level university degree with a focus in business, economics or related field
  • Typically 3+ years of professional experience in more than one finance function
Knowledge and Skills:
  • Strong understanding of the IT services industry and / or DXC business
  • Excellent communication (e.g., verbal, writing) skills
  • Experience working with and presenting to senior executives
  • Experience working with common business applications (e.g., Microsoft Excel) and data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Knowledge of ERP systems and related technologies
  • Proven work experience in a quantitatively-heavy role
  • Strong teamwork and project management skills
