Description:Dell s Online Engineering (Dell Commerce Services) organization is hiring an eCommerce B2B Cross Sales Channel Strategy consultant to be part of the Analytics team. This is a global team responsible for analytics and insights for Multi Billion $ online B2B business. Work of this team influences actions of Run the Business Operations team and features and roadmaps considered by engineering development team.B2B Analytics team is responsible for analytics and insights for Buyer and Seller platform of applications regarding:Platform Health-Speed and stability of entire ecosystems of applications supporting business. Engineering Launches and ROI, program benefit analysis UX Improvement- customer online experience Optimization of Revenue/Unit/Margin Run the BusinessThe Dell Digital and IT analytics organization Collects past purchase history and web behavioral data from end users and customers to identify problems, and/or insights that impact product design and development. Employs a broad range of data collection and analytical techniques such as CE analysis, user experience funnel analysis, qualitative/observational methods, and quantitative statistical data analysis.The team needs individuals with Digital analytic knowledge to deliver high value insight and recommendations. We are looking for a candidate who has a strong background in Digital analytics, with proven abilities to be innovative and creative, as well as strong collaborator and communicator.Person in this role is expected to use analytics techniques such as statistical analysis using OLAP cubes, use Hadoop and other big data tools. Some of the examples of this work include

  • Discover new trend and anomalies in customer behavior pattern resulting in increasing customer LTV through improving online experience
  • ID personalization to help Customers find what they want and what they may need
  • Using predictive analytics to predict customer propensity to purchase and churn
  • Price and product purchase history analysis to promote right product mix
  • ID optimization techniques to promote more online vs offline selling of increasingly complex hardware and cloud Dell-EMC product portfolio
Person in this role will be responsible for
  • New Idea generation in collaboration with stakeholders
  • Working with Data science team to build automation solutions
  • Implementation with stakeholders
  • Ensuring that results match expectations
  • Collecting feedback and improving solution further
The output of this work plays a critical role in DCS s prioritizations, enhancement ideation, and run-the-business optimization. All work is delivered with strong team and stakeholder partnership and maniacal focus on customer centric insights.Job Accountabilities:
  • Analyzes online customer behavior and online business performance, designing and developing new and innovative analytics methods
  • Provides actionable recommendations on how to optimize the online business
  • Executes online analytics and provides bi-weekly progress updates
  • Helps present findings to key stakeholders
  • Proactively introduce new ideas for client initiatives;
  • Establish relationship with key business partners or Point of Contacts to accelerate issues fix;
  • Contribute to improve Process and reduce overall issues;
  • Conduct research to identify Web sites and online influencers for improvement;
  • Develop and manage online strategic partnerships for client projects;
Qualifications:
  • Role Requirements:
    • Engineering, Computer Science, or Business Degree, or equivalent professional experience
    • 5+ years of relevant experience with at least 2+ years providing highly-actionable e-commerce analytics
    • Experience OLAP, SQL, proficiency in Excel and Microsoft office
    • Strong communication skills, including the ability to convey analytic insights effectively to both IT and business audiences
    • Strong teamwork, business acumen, and customer advocacy skills
    • Strong presentation, leadership, business influence, and project management skills
  • Preferences:
    • Experience working within global teams
    • Understanding of Dell.com processes (pre-purchase, purchase path, post purchase) is a plus
    • Experience Hadoop (Hive), SAS, JMP, Splunk, R, Python Experience e-commerce analytics tools: SiteCatalyst, Discover, Insights, TeaLeaf
    • Experience with large, high-volume web sites
