Create schematic and footprint symbols including 3D models. Job RequirementsEXPERIENCE: 2- 5 yearsRESPONSIBLITIES:Create medium to complex schematic and footprint symbols.Maintain library databases.Follow QA guidelines to assure accuracy of parts.Write and maintain directives.Experience creating and maintaining library databases.Create processes to assure accuracy of data being entered into the databaseREQUIRED SKILLS:Experience working with Cadence and Altium.In- depth knowledge of IPC- 7351.Experience with database, Access or SEQL, and Excel. Knowledge of all electronic and mechanical components.Ability to search Internet to locate datasheets, footprints and 3D models.Ability to effectively communicate with engineering, manufacturing and purchasing groups.Ability to work with component manufacturers and suppliers to obtain additional information.Working knowledge of mechanical software, SolidWorks and/ or NX. AutoCAD experience a plus.Be able to maintain Excel spreadsheets.
