Job Description

*MISSIONTesting, Validation and Verification of MV product ranges. Responsible to work closely with Technical lead and cross functional team to understand needs and test various products inhouse or in external laboratory. ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Strong background on testing of electrical products as per various standards like IEC, UL etc.
  • Testing of medium voltage products for Temperature rise testing, Dielectric testing, Mechanical Endurance, environmental testing etc.
  • Coordinate with various design/technical team, project managers to understand testing needs.
  • Test / Verify the products inhouse as well as at reputed test labs as per various standards like IEC.
  • Support in analysis of testing results & suggest solutions.
  • Make test reports and validate them.
  • Work closely with design and quality team to suggest and execute robustness testing plans.
  • Work closely with product experts and quality team and support various RCA (Root Cause Analysis) in lab.
  • Suggest, design and build various jigs and fixtures for testing various products effectively.
  • Knowledge on electrical and electronic components to build various circuits to automate electrical testing.
  • Work closely with different accreditation laboratories like NABL, ISO to prepare documentation, implement standard practices to get accreditation.
  • Work with Global lab team to participate and lead various topics like digitalization, standardization, testing tool development etc.
  • Coordinate with different external labs in India like CPRI, ERDA, UL etc. as well as external labs like KEMA, CESI to get quotations, planning and prioritizing and conducting various testing.
  • Coordinate between different labs and design team to plan, prioritize and conduct different testing.
  • Manage test reports and repository in lab.
  • Bring innovation in labs to increase efficiency of lab.
  • Manage Capex and Opex for lab every year.
  • Manage assets of lab
  • Understand electric safety needs and keep 5S in lab.
