Embedded Software EngineerResponsibilities:Design real-time softwareSupport existing software baseDevelop C, C++, C#, Visual Basic and Visual StudioDesign, implement and test real-time softwareDebug new and existing designs using tools such as JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic and protocol analyzers.Ability to read Electronic Schematics.Requirements:Excellent communication skills5+ years of experience developing Software in a team environmentBSEE/BSCE or Computer Science from an accredited schoolFamiliarity with TI C2000, TI MSP430, Kinetis, and NXP/Freescale DSC architecturesFamiliarity with MQX and TI-RTOS operating systems Linux is a bonusExperience with use of ADC, PWM and Input Capture for signal acquisition, generation and timing. TI eCap andePWM a plus.Implement algorithms and procedures in C/C++ and assembly code.Perform timing analysis of, and further optimize, critical code segments to meet hard real-time constraints.Experience implementing, optimizing, and debugging algorithms on C28x DSPs and MSP430.Familiarity with basic control theory (PLL and PID controllers) a plus.Familiarity with communication interfaces/protocols: SPI, I2C, USB, RS232/RS485.5+ years of experience developing Software in a team environmentBSEE/BSCE or Computer Science from an accredited schoolAdditional Information
