Position: Engineer / Senior Engineer Location: Bangalore Education: Bachelors or Masters in Engineering (Computer Science, Electronics, Telecommunications or related subjects) Experience: 3 to 5yrs Main Role: Carrier Acceptance Test (CAT) team is responsible for designing and developing carrier acceptance tests based on Anritsu products. Main objective of the engineer would be to develop various protocol scenarios (tests) using Anritsu tools/ products. Scenario design and development using Anritsu tools within a protocol environment Getting scenarios work in a prototype environment Adherence and conformance to the Anritsu development process Log Analysis and diagnosis of the problems Help support team and customers resolve their queries in using product to test 5G/ NB-IOT/ CATM1/ LTE/ 5G protocols. Good communication within and across teams Technical Requirements: Excellent protocol knowledge in LTE/ NB-IOT/ CAT-M1 and 5G (desirable) Experience in writing 5G/ LTE/ IOT protocol tests Excellent experience in debugging and analysing mobile protocol scenarios and getting scenarios to work in a prototype environment. Excellent problem solving and analytical skills 2G/ 3G/ 4G/ IOT/ 5G/ C2K/ TD-SCDMA Inter-RAT understanding 3GPP protocol knowledge Experience with XML, Pearl, Python or any other scripting language. Effectively communicate within and across teams Non-Technical Requirement: Ability to learn and pick up new technologies like 5G and new tools. Self-motivated independent performer who could perform and deliver with minimum supervision. Good team player Desired Experience: Sound understanding of LTE MAC/ PHY Protocol knowledge on 2G/ 3G Knowledge on Anritsu Signalling Tester (MD8430 / MD8480 / MD8475) Ability to mult-task with several activities Familiar with Perforce, Jira,
