Job Description

    Position Summary with Job ResponsibilitiesPurpose of the position a. This role exists to develop Engine aggregate sub-modules for the project Gasoline Engine, PV applications to ensure delivery as per agreed program timelines, cost and quality standards within the agreed project scope. b. Delay in delivery of project milestones considering upcoming complexities and new projects. It would be highly difficult to meet Quality and Timeline targets. Dimensions of the position: Cost D&D & DMC targets, Cost reduction targets Quality PAT/QSC Targets related to Engine sub-modules Timeline Delivery of Project Milestones Team :- CFT Team Lead, Design activities through out-sourcing Personal Profile: 1. Engine aggregate in-depth knowledge 2. Expertise in CAD tool (ProE preferred) 3. Design tools know-how including DFMEA, Design analysis 4. Good Team player 5. Drive to execute Relevant Experience : 1. Min 10+ years of experience in Design & development 2. In depth knowledge of Engine aggregate and its modules 3. Hands-on experience in CAD/CAE 4. Experience of product engineering development cycles 5. Experience in leading CFT to achieve program deliverables 6. Good understanding of cost elements related to Engineering 7. Problem solving skills through analytical approachEducationWork ExperienceKey Responsibilities: 1 Engine Design Lead: - Set aggregate level PAT targets - Identify PMXU for Engine Program - Make Design & BOM release - Provide aggregate inputs to stake-holders - Successful delivery of FDJ & ESO milestones Design Releases 2 Project Lead & SPOC for other COCs - Provide aggregate inputs to stake-holders - Ensure effective Engine integration with other modules Project Milestones 3 Cost & Quality targets delivery - Meet Cost reduction targets through VAVE, GEAR framework - Interact with FMQ & plant Quality to offer high quality Design solutions Cost & Quality targets 4 Proprietary Design Releases - Provide accurate design requirements through RFQ - Co-engineer design solutions with technical partners and supplier Design ReleasesTata Motors Leadership CompetenciesCustomer Centricity - Anticipating, understanding and focusing efforts on meeting the customer (stakeholders) needs or expectationsDeveloping Self and Others - Recognizing continuous development is essential for success and taking steps to develop self and helping others to excelDriving Execution - Translating strategy into action and executionLeading by Example - Encouraging and following ethical standardsLeading Change - Recognizing the need for change, initiating and adapting to changeMotivating Self and Others - Inspiring teams and individualsFunctional CompetenciesTags,
