Description:
Candidate should be BE/B.Tech with Mechanical engineering additional qualification of NTTF GTTC in Plastics /Tool design will be an added advantage. Total experience 8-10 yrs. 1.The engineer will be involved in designing enclosures mechanisms for infusion pumps mainly design of Plastic Injection molded parts, Sheetmetal. Defines design requirements and hardware specifications based on customer or user requirements. 2.Good knowledge on DFM for plastic parts, good in 3D 2D drawings in Solid works, Tolerance stack up analysis (Worst Case RMS techniques). 3.Contributes to development and documentation of mechanical system architectures. 4.Creates and develops designs of complex mechanical assemblies, mechanisms, and component parts for electro-mechanical medical devices meeting performance objectives. 5.Adept knowledge on Plastics, Sheet metal casting part designs as per mfg. guidelines. Strong knowledge on DFM, DFA is needed. 6.Good knowledge on drive mechanisms like gears, leadscrews, drives, mechanical control systems, motor selection applications. 7.Good knowledge on good engineering drawing practices. 8.Worked on Electromechanical devices. 9.Good knowledge understanding on static structure dynamic mechanisms. 10.Good knowledge experience on FEA tools like Solidworks Simulation. 11.Ensures successful integration of mechanical design elements with electrical and consumable components. 12.Completes deliverables related to integration of designs from sub-system design teams and external partners. 13.Contributes to troubleshooting and problem solving efforts related to mechanical aspects of the design and interfaces with other design constituents. 14.Able to effectively transition products to manufacturing and ensure robust products and manufacturing processes. 15.Improves mechanical and electro mechanical designs to optimize for production, reliability, regulatory compliance and cost. 16.Resolves competing constraints between interrelated functions (engineering, purchasing, manufacturing, regulatory, marketing, etc.) required to deliver the product to market. 17.Defines protocols and conduct the necessary testing required to validate the safety and effectiveness of the design(s). 18. Candidate should have exposure in working with global teams, good in communication working with cross functional team global stakeholders.
