Job Description

Description:Provides direct supervision to professional individual contributors (RFT s in E-band & Contractors)Acts as advisor in executing Engineering Changes for new and mature products, actively involved to meet schedules and resolve problems.Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensures specific project and program objectives for product commercialization are completed meeting the BU priorities & timelines effectively interfacing with the BU NPME Managers, ME Managers, Segment leaders & AMIND BU leadership.
  • Actively assesses the scope of works, conducts preliminary requirement study and manages resources for efficient delivery.
  • Drive performance from teams to meet the Service Level Agreement (SLA) for Engineering Change Execution (ECRs / SPS /Project prioritization) collaborating with the key stake holders of the business unit i.e., NPI and Volume Operations.
  • Collaborate with the key stakeholders of the BU to review KPI s monthly and take necessary corrective measures to align deliverables to the expected levels and drive to increase performance and productivity year over year.
  • Collaborate with project and BU stakeholders to forecast project volumes & plan resource requirements/staffing.
  • Setting Goals & Objectives, Conduct performance reviews for RFT s and assess the training & development needs of the team.
  • Partner with segment leaders to generate training plans for the group s capabilities, skill enhancements and ensure necessary certifications are completed meeting safety and technical requirements.
  • Actively partner with the leadership and cross functional teams, contributing towards BU initiatives, improving the processes associated with product release and commercialization.
  • Ownership to broadcast KPI of the processes, Backlogs, Cycle-times, Quality Etc. on weekly, monthly and quarterly cadence as required.
Education & Experience:
  • Bachelors Degree or Equivalent experience in any engineering discipline (preferably Mechanical / Production Engineering)
  • 6 - 10 years overall experience with 2 Years of demonstrated Technical Management / Supervisory experience would be an asset.
Job Specific Knowledge:
  • Thorough understanding of business processes related to Engineering Change Management
  • Sound exposure and working knowledge of 3D CAD (preferably NX), PDM (preferably Team-center) and PLM (ORACLE, SAP & CORE)
  • Understanding of ASME, GD&T standards
  • Computer skills - MS Office
  • Exposure to Semiconductor domain
