Job Summary: The Engineering Manager works with a team of developers, QA and documentation staff in the development of desktop speech recognition technology for healthcare and law enforcement professionals. The candidate will be a self-starter with experience directing other developers and reviewing technical work. You will work on multiple deliverables with dynamic schedules and help the Scrum team meet their sprint commitments. Hire, train and manager a team of developers working in a primarily C++ development environment. Provide project management oversight for the team to ensure that the team capacity is fully utilized. Provide hands on support for the team including spec writing and reviews Help with a hands-on contribution when needed. Work in an Agile environment breaking down Epics, writing stories and executing on stories Prototype new user interfaces to create innovative, simplified speech recognition experiences Work issues and report status Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: 10+ years of experience developing commercial/ enterprise Windows applications Experience providing technical leadership for other engineers Experience hiring and managing software engineering teams Experience with C++, C#, .NET, SQL development Multithreaded application development and debugging skills Scripting skills with JavaScript, Python, Perl or similar Excellent verbal and written communications skills Prefered Skills: Familiarity with WPF Experience with Windows Store app development Experience with iOS or Android mobile development Experience with Azure cloud deployment Sorry the Share function is not working properly at this moment.
