Our bottom line is to be a truster partner for our marketing business stakeholders in delivering strategic value.In this role you will:
• Lead an engineering team of MarTech Engineering Apps & SaaS solutions, supporting the future technology vision for Atlassian s Marketing Strategy in the areas of Demand Generation, Email & Content Marketing, Ad & Events Tech, Analytics & Insights.
• Responsible for the operational health of various applications in the Martech portfolio and ensuring they are highly performant and reliable.
• Work with a myriad of different technologies homegrown or third-party applications like Marketo, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Sales Cloud, Demandbase, ActionIQ, and AdTech.
• Review, mentor, and guide other application experts and software engineers to produce reliable and high-quality deliverables.
• Participate in solution design discussions, architectural decisions, code reviews and drive agile method of delivering focusing on quality, CI/CD, and best practices.
• Build proofs of concept and reference applications to demonstrate technology in action.
• Support the product growth and associated marketing teams translating their desired outcomes into engineering solutions
• Articulate and educate on business value, technical and architectural concepts to a variety of audiences, including business users, developers, architects, IT operations professionals, and senior IT managers.
• Build empathy and trust with your partners through partner agreement, design thinking methods, and upskilling.
On day one, we ll expect you to have:
• 10+ years of professional software development experience with 3+ years in people management.
• Proven ability to manage high-performing engineering teams remote, on-site & hybrid engagement model and experience in leading teams and offering career guidance. [Hire | Grow | Retain]
• Good understanding of the Marketing domain including Marketing Strategy in the areas of Demand Generation, Email & Content Marketing, Ad & Events Tech, Analytics & Insights.
• Experience in building custom applications [Java/Kotlin] and implementing & maintaining a SaaS Marketing Tech stack
• Experience in driving collaboration with your team by facilitating workshops and activities, aligning team members on product outcomes, bringing clarity where there is ambiguity, and keeping everyone aligned throughout the delivery
• Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written skills and the ability to interact with all levels of stakeholders, support personnel, and leadership
• Strong documentation, analytical and problem-solving skills
It s awesome, but not required if you have:A passion for building highly available and large scale distributed systemsHands-on experience with object-oriented technologies (Java, Kotlin etc).
