In the Mainline space, Alstom is executing Signaling & Power Supply Systems for the 343 Km. section on World Bank funded Eastern Dedicated Freight Corridor. Organisational ReportingDirect Reporting to Engineering Quality Director & dotted line to RSC Engineering DirectorNetwork & LinksInternal: Engineering, Performance Team and Engineering QualityResponsibilities and Accountabilities

• Lead the RightFirstTime program with the ambition to design, manufacture, and deliver smoothly and on schedule.
• Involve RSC Bangalore Engineering employees and diffuse the required changes to change mindsets, attitudes, and habits towards excellence
• Animate improvement initiatives at all stages of the value-chain using all possible levers of improvement (Methods, Tools, communication)
• Define, monitor and continuously improve governance around Operational KPI
• Support m tiers in their KPI selection, to ensure coherence with their strategic objectives/Top Management expectation.
• Carry out detailed analysis and identify improvement actions
• Drive improvement plans around transverse topics for Engineering function
• Effective deployment of return of experience within Engineering

• B.Tech/M.Tech in Engineering (Mechnaical/Electrical/Electronics)
• 8 to 10 years of experience in Engineering, Product Design, Continuous Improvement activities
• Previous experience in managing Quality tools, Executing and menotring/guiding Continuous Improvement projects
• Knowledge of Lean tools and experience in implementing the same
• Knowledge of railway industry (norms, certifications ) would be an asset
• Continuous Improvement mindset with Black Belt Certification
