Job Description
As a member of this team, you would contribute to CDM Smiths mission by: Preparing reconciliations for the operating , accounts payable, payroll, employee expenses, lock box, and flex benefits bank accounts Performing routine monthly analyses of the firms indirect operating expenses to verify that cost data is properly allocated Preparing journal entries for all cash transactions, cash receipts, cash transfers, and disbursements for accounts payable, payroll and employee expense reporting Reviewing all imprest bank reconciliations Investigating actual-to-budget cost variances of routine cases to ensure accurate results Performing balance sheet analyses to identify cost trends, variances, or related topics Developing and enhancing knowledge of accounting methods and procedures
Minimum Qualifications
0 - 2 years of related experience. Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance or equivalent field.
Preferred Qualifications
Deeper understanding of GL process and good understanding of business Effective in oral and written communication Good experience in Oracle EBS environment Positive attitude Advanced knowledge of MS Excel (eg., Pivot & V lookup) Problem solving approach Quick learning curve Positive approach towards team
