Job Description

*Arcadis is seeking an ambitious, hardworking, dependable geophysicist to join our world-class firm in one of our offices in India. This full-time position will be involved in various activities to support our growing Munitions Response program. This position requires working with teams in India and US, strict adherence to health and safety procedures, attention to detail, strong work ethic, and excellent communication skills.The desired candidate will possess great attention to detail, excellent written and verbal communication skills, and can work independently with minimal supervision. Applicants should be solution oriented and have independent critical thinking skills to work as a productive member of high-performance teams.Responsibilities for this position include but are not limited to:

  • Working with project teams to ensure that required work is completed on time, on budget, and consistent with recognized standards of technical excellence.
  • Process munitions response geophysical data collected using EM61-MK2, G-858, and advanced electromagnetic induction sensors (e.g., MetalMapper 2x2).
  • Exhibit independent thinking skills and able to work successfully with minimal daily supervision.
  • Working effectively with project teams, clients, and all other stakeholders.
  • Capable of working independently and in teams to efficiently complete assignments and requires minimal supervision in completion of daily tasks.
  • Conducting project related research (historical data, regulations, etc.).
  • Offer exceptional interpersonal skills and ability to build long-term, successful professional relationships with colleagues and regional teams.
, *Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor s/ master s degree in Geophysics
  • Prior computer programming or scripting experience
  • Experience collecting electromagnetic induction sensor data
  • Fluent in English
Preferred Qualifications:
  • 3 - 5 years of related geophysics experience
  • ArcGIS experience
