Job Description

Develops, implements, and monitors company environmental safety programs and policies to ensure compliance with regulations.Review programs/policies to ensure compliance with emerging or changing regulations. Consult with Facilties team to provide support and direction regarding Oracles compliance. Conduct site audits. Responsible for tracking and reporting injury or illness to appropriate agencies and investigate to determine corrective actions. May provide EHS training to include development of training course.Work involves some problem solving with assistance and guidance in understanding and applying company policies and procedures. Graduate with 0 - 2 year related work experience. Knowledge of regulations and fire codes. Safety certification desired.Presentation skills. Self starter. Detail oriented. Excel proficient., The Fire Officer is a key member of the sub-regional Environment, Health & Safety (EHS) team. He or she will dedicate the majority of his / her time in the area of Fire Safety. This shall be achieve through the following: 1) Compliance to Safety Codes and Regulations, 2) performing Building and Facility Inspections, 3) attest to the Maintenance of all Fire Equipment and 4) conduct all necessary Fire related training and education. In additional, the Fire Officer may be required to support EHS programs and projects.
