ERP Solution Architect

Job Description

The senior architect will play a vital role in developing analytical and ERP platforms for various retail clients across the globe. He or she will be responsible for designing and leading various projects that will involve deploying mathematical algorithms and models as web applications.Responsibilities:Design and development of software platforms/products/product components using Java EE.Participate in a midsized, experienced & energetic team on a rapid, agile development schedule.Identifies user requirements by researching and analyzing user needs, preferences, objectives, and workingmethods; studying how users consume content, including data categorization and labeling; meeting with focusgroups.Drive the architecture finalization effort. Able to understand the current client landscape, drive the proof ofconcepts, if required, identify the re-usable components, employ best practices towards this effort.Enhances information architecture team accomplishments and competence by planning delivery of solutions; answeringtechnical and procedural questions for less experienced team members; teaching improved processes; mentoring teammembers.Plans information architecture by studying the site concept, strategy, and target audience; envisioningarchitectural scheme, information structure and features, functionality, and user-interface design; creating userscenarios; preparing data models; designing information structure, work-and dataflow, and navigation; evaluatinginformation representation; conducting creative meetings.Organizes information by translating user behavior into media structure and elements; crafting interactiveexperiences; producing workflow diagrams, user scenarios, flowcharts, and storyboards; preparing interactionspecifications, navigation rules, organization of information, and site maps; coordinating with business,technology, visual, structural, editorial, cognitive, and brand strategists.Implements information architecture by preparing paper and interactive prototypes and mockups including pagelayout and navigational elements; coordinating with Web Producer and Production Developer to integrate siteconcept, visual design, writing, interface, and navigational structure; documenting structure and processes.Validates information delivery by developing and completing usability test plans; evaluating traffic patterns;studying user feedback; coordinating with Usability Specialists.Updates job knowledge by tracking research regarding web design and usability; participating in educationalopportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professionalorganizations.Enhances organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploringopportunities to add value to job accomplishments.Work in a cross functional role in collaboration with business analytics teams.Lead a team of software developers to provide technical direction.Minimum requirements:Graduate (BE/B.Tech)/ Masters (ME/M.Tech/MS) in Computer Science or equivalent from a premier institute with 8+year s hands-on software development experience.Strong knowledge in best practices of software architecture and design.Experience in enterprise architecture, systems integration, package implementation, and /or interactive design andarchitecture experience.Prior experience in a consulting firm preferred.Strong leadership and communication skills to effectively manage client accounts and multitask client teams.Proven leadership and managerial skills to independently manage large teams, during multiple phases of the projectlifecycle.Experience providing a vision to the total solution, managing a track of work and defining a comprehensivesolution leading toward a common vision.Frequent travel might be required.Technical SkillsExcellent knowledge of Java EE.Proficiency with SQL in designing and optimizing queries and stored procedures.Expert in Spring, Hibernate and Web Services using REST API s.Good knowledge of HTML, JavaScript and CSS.Experience in deploying high performance and scalable web applications with large databases.Knowledge on SAP Technologies is a plus.Experience in working with ETL tools is a plus.,
