Job Description

    Job DescriptionValue proposition/Your task
    • Analyze System & Software functional safety requirements for different ASIL requirements for body electronics system.
    • Derive safety requirements test specifications on various hardware and software systems/subsystems levels.
    • Review & manage safety relevant testing tasks & artifacts
    • Participate, support safety analyses activities like FTA, FMEDA, FMEA, DFA and use them in deriving test plan & test cases
    • Develop and maintain work products defined by the ISO26262 safety standards.
    • Contribute to VnV Safety test plan as per Safety standards and own the document.
    • establish and monitor development work flows and processes to achieve and sustain required quality and safety levels
    • Handle System & software compliance against ISO26262 safety standards, collaborate on efforts, measure results, and provide status reports
    • Work very closely with System teams, Software teams, hardware teams. Participate in verification, test planning, coverage closure etc.
    • Develop test plans and verify new software functionality (not limited to safety)
    • to collaborate and communicate effectively with the architects and software teams.
    • Execute functional safety verification and validation
    • Discuss functional safety related topics with the customer
    • Organize and lead internal and external project team meetings
    • Regular reporting to project team and management
    • Own Safety case for VnV part
    • Impart functional safety mindset within the team
    Required Competencies:
    • Must to have TUV ( Level -1 or more) or relevant certifications from other agency.
    • Hands on experience in ISO26262 Part-4, Part-6, and knowledge in other parts.
    • Must to have 3 years of experience in Functional safety related.
    • Hands on experience in using Debuggers, Oscilloscope, Multimeters and other Vectors tools like CANOe
    • Hands on HIL testing experience
    • Good to have experience in hardware schematic level to find test points
    • Proficiency in C/C++ and coding standards like Automotive MISRA or similar
    • Strong background in real-time embedded systems.
    • Familiarity with computer system architecture, microprocessor, and microcontroller fundamentals (caches, buses, memory controllers, DMA, etc.)
    • Exposure to technical safety concepts, i.e. for electric powertrains, body and chassis and E/E architectures
    Soft skills:-Collaboratively work with the teams-time management-able to convey the message precisely,
