Job Purpose To ensure that the entire production plan is executed as per the specifications in a systematic and timely manner. To prepare grids of design concepts for tradeshows and bulk manufacturing and maintain data of same on PLM. To enable MRP setting for products in alignment with production cost and perceived value. Key Result Areas Supporting Actions Proto development Provide support in proto development on the basis of concepts produced by Design team. Analyze protos regarding feasibility for bulk manufacturing. Grid development Prepare grids for tradeshows on design concepts and communicate same to Sourcing. Release BCDS after trade shows. Collate and understand customer feedback during tradeshows and respond by making changes to prepare the final grids for bulk manufacturing. Fabric orders Release fabric orders on the basis of specifications received from the Design team for trade shows and bulk manufacturing. MRP Setting Collate pre- tradeshow costs from factories and price ranges set by competition to enable setting of MRP for products. Identify and resolve any mistakes in the MRP grid. Conduct market/ mill visits for competition analysis in terms of MRP. PLM/ SAP Management Upload MRP grid on PLM. Upload and maintain database for allstylecode grids on PLM. Maintain database of goldseals on PLM. Monitor FG inwards and fabric inventories on SAP. Fits sessions Take part in fits sessions to analyze and review fabric for any manufacturing defects. Analysis reports Conduct Costing error analysis and prepare report on same on a daily basis. Prepare Prime cost- MRP analysis report based on specified targets on a monthly basis. Prepare Sell through analysis reports on a monthly basis. Responsible for preparation and review of BOM on a monthly basis. New trims development Provide support in the development of new trims every season.*
