Job Description

What will you contribute Reporting to the Director, DevOps Tools, this role is expected to lead the developer experience and support function. The role is expected to provide critical technical support and guidance of tools in the CI/C pipeline.

    This position is located in Bangalore.Responsibilities & Deliverables:Your deliverables as a Expert DevOps Tools Engineer will include, but are not limited to, the following:
    • Administration and management of DevOps tools
    • Provide critical expertise and support to the Development Tools function
    • Understand the operation of the tools in the CI/CD pipeline, monitor, and provide stability to the tools in the pipeline
    • Lead Developer experience programs and ensure internal customers have a very good experience when using standard tools in the pipeline.
    • Understand and support the software development lifecycle process, Agile development processes and DevOps principles
    • Interacts with internal stakeholders to support Tools and/or resolve related critical problems.
    • Act as an escalation point and provide critical guidance to the Tools teams.
    • Other duties and projects as assigned.
    • Trainings and documentation on related technologies
    • Host CoPs and improve usability of tools.
    Required Experience:
    • 10 year s experience in DevOps, support functions or cloud operations.
    • Experience in Managing tools in the pipeline.
    • Should be adept as Supporting in a production like environment.
    • Experience in SRE concepts and should have worked as SRE Engineer.
    • Experience with Agile and/or DevOps tools like JIRA, Azure DevOps, GITHub, Jenkins, Checkmarx, SonarQube, Jenkins
    • Familiarity with Agile principles preferred.
    • Should have worked in a regulate industry, and should have participated in related audits
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications.
    • Knowledge of software development methodologies and the software development lifecycle.
    • Ability to provide solutions to a variety of technical problems of moderate scope and complexity independently.
    • Strong technical, analytical, and DevOps/support skills.
    • Effective verbal and written communication skills; effective customer service skills.
    • Ability to work independently or within a team environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously.
