Job Description

At Philips Innovation Campus, Bengaluru - we craft the future of Healthcare and its positive impact on society by creating world-class software and systems to enable the digitalization of Healthcare. Currently, we house4000 world-class software professionals who build meaningful innovations for Global markets.We are looking for a Fellow Architect Solutions, who will be part of the Chief Architect office and PICs lead architect and technology brand ambassador. You will be responsible for defining and driving the reference architecture for our HealthSuite Solutions, contributing to the overall PIC strategy and fill in for the Philips Chief Architect when and where required. The role will span across all software platforms and businesses.Key responsibility areas:

  • Drive and lead the key elements of the Philips HealthSuite Reference Architecture and Philips Modular Systems, with high strategic business impact.
  • Drive the architecture definition, implementation and adoption for several strategic Philips architecture initiatives. For Example; HealthSuite System of Engagement, Winning HealthSuite Solutions, Smart Connected Devices, Innovation 2025 Digital Platforms and Technologies, strategic cross-platform and cross-cluster CAO epics, reference architectures for common building blocks, platforms alignment and prioritization, architectural integration of newly acquired companies, selection of strategic Philips industry standards and technologies, etc.
  • Define the architecture, discovery, evaluation and evolution for various software and (commodity) hardware technologies, partners and tools across Philips: CI/CD pipeline technologies, IT techniques, workflow technologies, AI technologies, model-based development technologies, rapid application development technologies, advanced visualization technologies, AR/VR technologies, cloud technologies, compute-hardware technologies etc.
  • Lead the Architects in PIC and drive the maturity in the architecture and advocate SW factory way of working
  • Advocating platform mentality amongst the BUs, working along with individual modality architects to drive the possibility of one common platform
To succeed in this role, you should have the following skills and experience
  • Proven experience as a CTO/head of Architecture or similar leadership role in large matrix-based organizations or agile and scalable startups
  • Proven track record of product/platform rollouts that have made a true impact in the world of technology
  • Knowledge of technological trends to build disruptive strategies
  • Understanding of budgets and business-planning, proficient with frugal engineering concepts
  • Ability to conduct technological analyses and research in a highly regulated environment
  • Excellent interpersonal skills
  • Exposure to the Healthcare sector or related sector
  • Ability to bring an outside-in perspective, embrace the digital transformation role and move the organization towards Integrated platforms
  • Academic excellence in Computer Science, Engineering or any related field
