Job Description

Lead validation of Femtocell Solution in 4G/5G Network . The Femto solution test activities spans across E2E Network integration, Functional regression, Call Processing & OAM feature testing, Automation, System Upgrades and backward compatibility testing. Job scope ( JG-08) : Lead Integration and validation for E2E solution across multiple NEs Femto / Femto GW/ NPO/SMP/SAM/HDM/IMPACT etc.

  • Possess prior knowledge or Fast paced learning to work on Cloud technologies, Microservices Architecture with understanding of Native SNMP V3 & TR069 device management.
  • Proactive fast paced learning to adapt to 5G architecture & 5G Femto features.
  • Critically review requirements, HLD and own Test planning for requirement and validation coverage for new features & regression of previous release features.
  • Accelerate automation of new features to improve regression test coverage.
  • Monitor test execution progress to meet quality and timeline.
  • Lead debugging of complex issues in the lab /customer network, perform requirement analysis, Verification risk assessment, rigorous test planning, customer documentation reviews, CR tracking for product issues and perform proactive follow-ups for product quality improvements.
Knowledge, skills and abilities : Educational qualifications: Bachelor or Master degree in engineering (Electronics & Communications; Computer Science, EEE)Experience: minimum 4 years of relevant experience.Competencies
  • Demonstrated ability to learn quickly and to work in a fast paced, innovative environment.
  • Good Knowledge & proven experience in LTE/UMTS domain with proven experience in E2E call processing testing and/ or OAM testing with sound FCAPS & networking background.
  • Good knowledge of wireless networks, RF and 3GPP standards.
  • Good knowledge of Call Control, Mobility Management & Radio Resource Management functions.
  • General knowledge of NAS protocol layers.
  • Hands-on experience in various protocol analysers and tools like QxDM, QCAT desirable.
  • Knowledge of TCP/IP, SNMP, IPSec, Radius.
  • Knowledge of Linux, UNIX , scripting language or Python is essential
  • Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Robot automation framework exposure and Python scripts expertise will be a plus.
