Job Description

    Role Overview:You will be accountable for all aspects of financial management and control for the Business Unit, working with a high level of professionalism, independence, and integrity. Your responsibilities will include effectively utilizing a centralized shared service team for non-business partnering finance activities, acting as a trusted business partner to the Business Unit, leading the annual plan and quarterly forecast process, analyzing key variances, developing strong relationships with stakeholders, supporting and challenging business initiatives and investments, ensuring financial performance, and managing other aspects of the business as needed.Key Responsibilities:- Accountable for all aspects of financial management and control for the Business Unit- Utilize a centralized shared service team for non-business partnering finance activities- Act as a trusted business partner to the Business Unit- Lead the annual plan and quarterly forecast process- Analyze and communicate key variances between actuals and Plan/Forecasts- Develop strong relationships with stakeholders- Support and challenge business initiatives and investments- Take responsibility for the financial performance- Ensure compliance with statutory, legal, and tax requirements- Develop and deliver a mid/long term strategy to manage major cost items effectively- Ensure successful implementation of the Arcadis Way change program- Manage local relationships with banks, tax authorities, and auditorsQualifications Required:- Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field- Professional certification (e.g., CPA, CMA) preferred- Minimum of 5 years of experience in financial management and control- Strong understanding of financial processes and best practices- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to build strong relationships with stakeholders- Experience in managing risks and opportunities to maximize valueAdditional Company Details (if available):The company focuses on enabling a People First culture to progress towards being an employer of choice and a great place to work.
