They generate forecasts and analyze trends in sales, finance and other areas of business. The Finance Teams also create financial models of what if scenarios to help future business planning decisions.Job Scope:The Financial Systems Analyst will report to the Manager of Financial Systems within the Corporate Controllers organization. Position supports corporate Hyperion applications including Financial Data Quality Management (FDMEE) and Hyperion Financial Management (HFM) in the areas of the financial close and reporting cycles. Includes significant interaction with HFM end users in loading and completing the closing cycle in HFM. The position will also support other sub processes within the Corporate Systems team.Responsibilities:Aids in supporting FDMEE and HFM applications, closing processes, and troubleshooting. Maintains the global FDMEE mappings to SAP chart of accounts. Assists in the development and maintenance of HFM forms and business rules. Provides timely and effective technical support to internal customers to troubleshoot issues and minimize down time for the end user during the month-end close and forecast processes. Creates and modifies Financial Reports in FRS Cross trains other system team s members as needed Update operating procedures and documentation Assist with the annual Corporate Sarbanes-Oxley review including updating documentation, providing support for internal/external testing and working with the External Auditors Work collaboratively and effectively within a team of peersCompetencies:The Financial Systems Analyst must possess the following qualifications:Bachelor s degree in Finance 3-5 years finance experience with proven aptitude with systems. Comfortable interfacing with all levels in the organization including Senior Management Strong knowledge of Enterprise Performance Management tools; Experience with Financial Data Quality Management (EE), Hyperion Financial Management (HFM), Hyperion Planning, and ERP systems preferred SAP experience a plus Self-starter with a focus on process development and process management Strong business/financial acumen with ability to learn independently Ability to deliver under pressure while balancing multiple (and sometimes competing) priorities Ability to offer extended support hours during times of critical business activities Strong organizational, communication and interpersonal skills,
