Job Description

    Assist in negotiating with Audit firm and provide guidance across complete audit procedure and scheduleReview the Audit report and compare with the internal reports and findings to ensure maximum compliance and minimum financial exposureReview existing contracts and provide key insights on various contractual rights and obligationsProvide knowledge sharing on contracts and negotiation tacticsDesign strategy for cost savings and negotiationsAssign licenses based on the best optimized scenarioProviding reports on usage, deployment, expiry dates, license type and other related informationBuild Publishers compliance reports manually and from the SAM ToolPreparing a risk assessment report publisher-wise based on elements like: compliance audits, usage patterns, consumption volume, product user rights complexity, software spend, and contract typeCreate a remediation plan for Applications with Compliance GapOptimization recommendations based on the Software usageClosely analyze the terms and product usage rights mentioned in the contracts.Upload the contract data in SAM ToolGather the entitlement data from various sources including but not limited to PO copies, Invoices, Publisher Portals, Signed agreements, etc.Identify license metric, version, edition, model for all products belonging to publishers based on the agreements, contracts, invoices and any other proof of purchase provided. Primary skills:Next Gen->Flexera,Tools->ServiceNow/SNOW5-8 years of Experience in managing license compliance and Audits for Engineering products licenses. (e.g Autodesk, Bentley Systems, Dassault System, Open Text, Ansys, Trimble, ESRI, Hexagon etc.)Experience on managing Tier1/2 publishers with Audit support (eg: Microsoft, Oracle, IBM, SAP, Citrix, Adobe, VMWare, Salesforce ServiceNow etc)Experience in managing Software assets and license operations in FlexeraUnderstand software deployment and licensing methodology to prepare compliance reportingExperience on license optimization and recommending on cost saving opportunities for Engineering productsExperience on Flexera FNMEA module for managing engineering licenses. Ability to develop value-creating strategies and models that enable clients to innovate, drive growth and increase their business profitabilityGood knowledge on software configuration management systemsAwareness of latest technologies and Industry trendsLogical thinking and problem solving skills along with an ability to collaborateUnderstanding of the financial processes for various types of projects and the various pricing models availableAbility to assess the current processes, identify improvement areas and suggest the technology solutionsOne or two industry domain knowledgeClient Interfacing skillsProject and Team management,
