Position: Despatch Officer. Department: Despatch Department. Qualification: Diploma in Mechanical Engg Experience: 8+ years experience in handling responsibility of getting castings and forged parts machined as per requirement. Prior experience in a reputed pump or valve manufacturing company is preferred. Gender: Male Languages: English, Hindi, Kannada & Tamil Dispatch Officer We are looking for Candidates who have completed their Degree in Commerce or Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Material Management with minimum 8 years experience in Despatch Dept of any relevant Engineering industry. Job responsibilities will include : Planning of the weekly and day to day despatch activities with the consultation of Operations department. Procurement of Packing Material, Supervising the packing of Material by Sub-Contractors/labour and prevent use of sub-standard packing material. Ensure that proper packing norms for the Safety of the material is followed. Prepare packing slips for every item that are packed in the packages wherever required. Prepare Commercial Invoice in ERP. Check Invoice and verify against Packing Slips. Co-ordination with Transporters for dispatch of material. Collecting dispatch documents and filing the same at respective files for future reference. Maintaining of registers for all despatches. Candidate should be a team player with good communication skills. Fluency in Kannada and Hindi is desirable. Knowledge of Central Excise and customs procedures, sales tax and dispatch documents is a must. Candidates should be comfortable using Computers - Computer Literacy is a must. They should be familiar with use of MS Word and MS Excel. Since all our processes is based on Oracle ERP, we shall provide necessary training on the same. However, candidates who are already exposed to popular ERP packages like SAP or Oracle shall be given preference. raising Invoice in ERP and involved in engaging vehicles and interacting with transporters vehicles placed should be bigger than LCVs,
