IDC has evolved as center of excellence for Cloud and data analytics, with significant contributions to the key informatics solutions. The teams consist of highly hardworking software & hardware engineers and development managers. The teams are supported by local Product managers, Quality & Regulatory and Intellectual property specialists.The inhouse teams works in close coordination with other global R&D centers at US, France, Germany, Japan, Australia, Denmark and Sweden. Located at the center of Bangalore IT HUB, IDC is housed at state of art facility.The Software Engineer II for Beckman Coulter Diagnostics is responsible for implementation and testing of existing or newly created code for our DxA 5000 product.This position is part of the Software and System Automation Business Unit of Beckman Coulter located in Bangalore and will be hybrid. At Beckman Coulter, our vision is to relentlessly reimagine healthcare, one diagnosis at a time.You will be a part of the DxA Development Team and report to the local Software Development Manager responsible for maintenance and extension of the DxA 5000 System. • Verify that the developed software (non-UI applications/services as well as UI applications running on Windows) fulfills given requirements by implementing automated tests and conducting manual tests in simulation.
• Understand subsystem level requirements and participate in development/design discussions making recommendations to improve automation test activities.
• Ensure product robustness through a structured testing process, i.e. as exemplified by the test pyramid and by exploratory methods.
• Document and communicate issues found during testing to facilitate corrective action by developers and/or designers.
• Creation, maintenance, and execution of automated test suites. Contribute to the development, improvement, and growth of the automation framework.
The essential requirements of the job include:
• B.Sc. in Computer Science or BE. in Software Engineering or some years of related experience.
• Ideally ISTQB certification.
• Experience in programming in C# and Visual Studio.
• Hands-on experience with API and UI testing and familiarity with software testing tools such as SpecFlow, Postman, Framework for Integrated Test, Load Test, TestComplete, Selenium, etc.
It would be a plus if you also possess previous experience in:
• Experience with Agile Scrum/Kanban processes, and Azure DevOps for managing the work.
• Knowledge of data analytics and processing and/or familiar with biochemistry and mass spectrometer data analysis is desired
• Experience with automation framework design and development also for non-UI applications/services.
