Its core client base is individual investors, small- to medium-size businesses and institutions, and high net worth families and individuals. In the second half of 14, WM reached a milestone, with its business having surpassed $2 trillion in total client assets.The IST (Investment Solutions Technology) team within the Wealth Management Investment Product & Solutions IT (IPSIT) develops platforms, applications and tools to support Mutual Funds, Alternative Investments, Annuities, UITs and other businesses.Position Overview:We are looking for a hands-on Senior Technologist with extensive experience in designing, developing and supporting applications using latest technologies and tools (Angular, Java/J2EE, SQL Server, Apache Solr etc). She/he will work closely with the global team and will help build next generation applications/platforms supporting critical front office functions.The Right Candidate

1. A hands-on Senior Technologist with 10+ years of hands-on experience in designing, developing and supporting enterprise applications end-to-end.
2. In depth understanding and extensive experience in designing and developing complex web applications, using the modern web development tools & frameworks including JavaScript frameworks such as Angular 2+ and frameworks such as Bootstrap etc.
3. Extensive experience in building web applications leveraging web-services (REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML).
4. Experience in developing web services using standard Java based frameworks/toolkits (REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML).
5. Experience developing large scale complex software solutions using Java/J2EE and related technologies (highlydesired).
6. Good understanding of DB concepts and experience working on SQL Server (or other RDBMS).
7. Experience leading development and delivery of complex applications. Ability to lead coach and mentor junior team members.
8. Excellent communications, analytical and problem-solving skills.

• Primary skills (must):
  • Extensive experience in Angular 2+ or other similar Javascript based UI frameworks.
  • Web-services (REST, SOAP, JSON, and XML).
  • SQL Server (or any other RDBMS).
  • Exposure to and understanding of backend/services development using Java and related tools/frameworks.
• Highly desired skills:
  • Experience developing applications in Java/J2EE and relate technologies.
  • Spring, myBatis etc.
• Good to have skills
  • Exposure and good understanding of Asset/Wealth management domain a plus.
  • Experience building & supporting applications in banking domain a plus.
